Step up to Oustanding is a bespoke programme for care home Managers to make their care home move from CQC Inadequate/ RI/ Good to the glorious rating of Outstanding.
Step-up-to outstanding is a 12-month coaching programme, will help you improve your care home step by step to make it meet the Outstanding Criteria.
Each month, there will be two sessions.
- Detailed lesson on a KLOE and action plan for you to complete
- Feedback session on improvements made, Q&A on that specific KLOE.
Issac Theophilos is an ex nursing home manager of a CQC Five Star Outstanding rated care home, and he is also the author of the best selling book How to get Outstanding. Issac has guided many care homes to come out of CQC special measures and supported some to get Outstanding.
Commitment from you:
We understand that you are already under a lot of pressure to run the day-to-day operations. Hence we have made this programme into 12 months to cover 24 KLOES. You can make consistent improvements over 12 months. But there is no excuse for you NOT to make progress on one KLOE each month. The Care world is changing rapidly; staying still is not an option.

Upon producing the improvements you have made in each KLOE, you will get a certificate.
How much should you invest?
The total investment would be £275 + VAT per month for a care home. You will get a discount of £300/- if you pay all upfront.
