The Care Quality Commission, responsible for inspecting care homes in England, have specific criteria for assessing the characteristics of ‘Outstanding’ during their inspection. The Outstanding characteristics reflect how each care home goes over and above to ensure the service users and staff have a positive outcome because of their interventions, yet only 3.5% of care homes in England are rated as Outstanding by CQC.

This seminar will focus on how care homes can align their systems in line with CQC Outstanding characteristics, and help people live a fulfilling life while they are living in a care home.
