Care planning Masterclass from Issac Theophilos is a one-day online practical workshop for Care home Managers or care leads to develop “Bulletproof care plans” for your care home residents.

Morning session:

• The ‘why’ behind writing care plans?
• Legal obligation
• What can go wrong when the care plans are not correct?
• CQC Fundamental standards
• What CQC expects you from the care plans?
• How to document consents for care and treatment?
• How to do the documentation for the use of restraining used?
• Principles of writing a care plan
• Structure of the care plan writing
• The care domains you shouldn’t miss.
• Additional care domains to be used when required
• Risk assessments
• Daily records and charts
• How to do bulletproof care plan auditing?

Afternoon session:

We will do a practical workshop with your staff on how to write a bulletproof care plan for one of your ‘high risk’ clients. We will create a bulletproof care plan by the end of the day.

Software:

We do not mind which care planning software you use. We will work with the software you use to make your care plans very effective. We are well versed with the most common care planning software.

Platform used for training

Training is done via Zoom. Each attendee should have full attention while attending the session. There will be short breaks every 30 minutes to break away from the computer screen.

Training at your premises:

If you want Issac to teach your staff on-site, there will be an additional cost of travel and accommodation. You will arrange a training room and associated equipment needed.
