Woodlands Residential Care Home

Woodlands Residential Care Home is located in Fleet Hampshire and has been twice rated outstanding by CQC since 2016. This demonstrates our long term commitment to providing outstanding person-centred care for all of our residents. Woodlands is a 40 bedroom family-owned and run care home and provides 24-hour outstanding care for residents living with long term medical conditions such as diabetes, strokes, heart failure, chronic respiratory failure and Parkinson’s. We also care for residents with short term memory loss and mild dementia.

At Woodlands Residential Care Home, we work in partnership with our resident’s, their families, a local doctor’s surgery and the community nursing team. This helps to reduce the need for hospital admissions. All of our trained staff are permanently employed, with no agency staff used, so our staff really get to know our residents care requirements and more importantly what makes them happy. All of our staff are now vaccinated for Covid. Our resident’s dignity and independence are respected at all times. The company ethos at Woodlands and Hill Brow is to care for our residents as if they were our own family.

The home is surrounded by extensive and beautiful landscaped gardens, with all year colour and interest. In the centre of the home there is a sheltered courtyard, which is an ideal spot to enjoy the fresh air or have a drink with family and friends. All of the gardens are accessible by flat level paths and our residents really do benefit and enjoy making full use of these lovely gardens.

There is a full 7 day a week activities and social programme, offering a wide variety of activities and events for residents to join in and enjoy if they choose to. Equally, we also support individual residents to keep up their own hobbies and interests.

Delicious fresh locally sourced food is prepared by our chefs and mealtimes are always an enjoyable social occasion. Our residents help to pick the menus and choose the activities through a resident committee and we always welcome family and friends to be involved, visit our home and become part of it.
