Issac Theophilos is the founder and Director of Outstanding Care Homes (OCH). Issac started working in a care home as a care worker, progressing his way up to becoming a Manager of a dementia specialist nursing home in West Sussex. Issac, along with his team, managed to turn around a care home to achieve two outstanding’s on the first inspection after becoming a Manager. On reinspection after three years, the team managed to achieve Outstanding in all the five domains of inspection. Only very few care homes have achieved a five-star rating in England.
In early 2018, Issac quit his job and wrote the book How to get outstanding: An ultimate guide for care homes. He was very passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience to help other care homes to achieve Outstanding rating as there were only just more than 100 care homes who achieved that accolade during the time. Issac launched his book on Health plus care show 2018. Since then the book remained as the #nursinghome best seller in Amazon.
Issac has now become one of the popular care home consultant and speaker within the social care sector with a real missio to make a difference. Issac believes everyone deserves outstanding care when unwell. Issac is helping care homes to deliver exceptional care. He, along with his team, now helps care homes to develop strategies to run effective care homes. He currently works as a care home coach and mentor, auditor, quality improvement consultant and as a speaker sharing his valuable experience with a bigger vision.
Issac is now on a mission to find highly competent people with a similar purpose to join him to help care homes to succeed.
Issac’s ‘Why’?
Issac had experience of nursing his parents and grandfather at early childhood. His passion for nursing for others remains without any shadow and will always remain whatever the role might be. Any consultant who works on behalf of the OCH will work with the similar mindset.
